The Radchester Match

A song about public school sports, with words by Maurice Holt and music by Peter Tranchell. The only surviving manuscript (see image below) features only the melody and words - Tranchell probably improvised the accompaniment in performance. The song probably dates from the later 1950s, when Tranchell collaborated with Maurice Holt on Twice A Kiss.
